Our prestigious client, is the leading European real estate firm, with a focus on UK & European real estate investment opportunities.

The firm handles the full cycle of investments in real estate assets – specialisation within Alternative Capital Markets thus making it the market leader in identifying off market transactions, undertaking highly specialized due diligence of the assets, financial and transnational modelling, legal structuring, financing and debt negotiating and the development and implementation of exit strategies working closely with operating partners.

After some internal movement/restructuring our client is now looking to add a Hotel & Hospitality Senior Analyst / Analyst specialist to this ever growing team in the ACM division.

The role requires proactive management and supervision of new and ongoing investment projects focused on investment analysis,financial modelling, due diligence work, including discussions with local service providers in country, site visits, transaction documentation, and working with local operating partners across the UK and Europe.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of real estate investing in both the UK & Europe arena, investment analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence with in-depth project management of multiple projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for brokering the deals, managing, mentoring and developing junior level staff.

Senior Analyst Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Evaluate, perform due diligence, report on real estate investment opportunities within Hotels & Hospitality across the ever-growing UK market
    • Create financial models, conduct market research, interact with operating partners, brokers, sellers, and advisers to evaluate investments and conduct due diligence
    • Manage multiple third-party due diligence processes and oversee technical, valuation, and legal advisers for multiple projects and Instructions

    Real Estate Senior Analyst London

      • Work with investors’ and co-investors’ structuring and legal advisers to determine and implement the appropriate legal and tax structure for acquisitions
      • Prepare investment memorandum to summarize findings for internal and investor investment committees
      • Participate actively in regular meetings with existing and potential new investors senior management and investment committees to discuss and assess new investment opportunities and asset management of existing assets, to assess investor requirements, and to report on progress
      • Manage, mentor, and develop a full team of Analysts

    Senior Analyst Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required

      • Successful track record in private equity real estate funds within the UK or Europe’s Hotels & Hospitality sector
      • Experience in real estate finance and development in Hotels & Hospitality
      • Must be from a Real Estate Agents
      • Advanced understanding of investment, accounting, finance, and real estate terminology
      • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills with ability to create financial models and be able to utilize valuation methods for asset valuations and appraisals
      • Experience managing due diligence processes including overseeing third party technical, valuation, legal and tax advisers and drafting of legal documentation structuring
      • Experience in drafting investment memos and asset management reports
      • Excellent relationship building and negotiating skills, especially with operating partners
      • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
      • Degree in finance, economics or related field, as well as an MBA, preferred; CFA level experience preferred
      • In addition to English, fluency in another European language is preferred
